After a long day shopping me and my mother decided to dine at the Inshanghai Buffet. It was quite a trek to get down to the restaurant which is located next to the river, but when we arrived we were greated by a polite waiter. The restaurant was quite busy but the young man showed us to our seats straight away and took our beverage orders, telling us to help ourselves.

The food is what you would expect from a typical Chinese restaurant. Being a buffet you expect the food to become cold after a while of being out, this is a downside to the majority of buffets. Despite the temperature of the food, it was still of good quality. The egg foo yung is a personal favourite. (more…)
